2014 Stock Show University Grad Program

Rudds Show Supply is pleased to announce the 2014 Stock Show University Grad Program will be May 9th thru May 11th. This event will be held at the KVLS arena in Kissimmee Fl. The Grad Program is a two day clinic that will teach you everything you need to know about show day cattle grooming and fitting.

The SSU clinic is full. No more registrations will be accepted.


We have had a lot of requests for a list of items needed to bring to the Stock Show U Clinic. Below is a list of some of the items you will need.

Cattle, feed, feed pans and water buckets, rope halter, neck tie, hay, water hose, soap, rice root brush, scotch combs, grooming chute, blower, clippers, blades, grooming supplies, show halter, show stick, fans, extension cords, extra money for purchasing product from the supply trailer, $5.00 a plate for non registered kids and adults for lunch and dinner, a great additude, good night sleep and be ready to learn from the best.

– Check in will be held in the arena. Please check in before unloading. You will be directed to your stall area depending on your skill level.

– Students will receive three meal tickets at check in. Do not lose them as you will need to provide a ticket for each meal you receive.

– Once students and Professors have their meals, tickets can be purchased for $5.00 per plate for non registered parents and spectators

– Don’t forget shavings for your animals. All bedding areas will need to be removed of shavings and trash before you will be allowed to leave

9am – Grad Program Begins

Lunch and dinner will be $5 per plate

SUNDAY MAY 11, 2014

9am – have cattle fed, washed, dry and be ready

9am – Grad Program resumes

Lunch $5 per plate

Lunch for parents will be available for a monetary donation

All shavings will need to be cleaned up and put in a dumpster provided. You will need to clean your area completely before leaving.

Rudd’s Show Supply will now be sharpening clipper blades.

Entry Fee:  $25 per animal. Post Marked by May 16th, 2014. Late fee $10.00 per head at the show. Entries will be accepted the day of show cash only.  Showmanship will be $10.00 per exhibitor.

Prospect steers and heifers will be shown by weight.


  • ·         Awards for Steers and Heifer Show : Grand Champion Division $250.00 Reserve Grand Champion $100.00.


Concession will be available Friday night – and Saturday for breakfast and lunch.




  1. 1.       Exhibitors must be a member of 4-H, FFA, Florida Junior Cattlemen’s Association up to 18 yrs old
  2. 2.       No Generators are allowed inside the barn for any reason.
  3. 3.       Electricity is limited! Bring your own Generators to be used outside of the barn.
  4. 4.       Cattle may be shown as long as they are 3 years of age or younger.
  5. 5.       Health certificates on all livestock will be required during check-in.
  6. 6.       Flap Tags are required
  7. 7.       Exhibitors are responsible to know your show times
  8. 8.       Must show your own animal at showmanship
  9. 9.       Exhibitors should be dressed neatly with long jeans and boots are required.
  10. 10.   Neck ties are required overnight.
  11. 11.   Committee members reserve the right to disqualify exhibitors due to safety issues, if needed.
  12. 12.   You are responsible for cleaning up area’s used while at Turner Center.
